What: Camping and riding Valley Creek near Stanley, Idaho!
When: August 26 - August 28. We'll be camping Friday and Saturday night.
Where: Valley Creek, near Stanley, Idaho. Start by heading towards Stanley. From the Lowman Hwy intersection in Lowman, it's about 48 miles to the turnoff onto Valley Creek Road. So right around that point, look for the TVTMA signs. We'll be camping off of NFS 304, if you reach NF-282 Road you've gone about 0.6 miles too far. See the links to the maps at the bottom for more detail on the location. If you have any questions on the location, please email Mark at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Riding: Saturday: There will be a hosted ride on Saturday that should be 40-60 miles of beautiful Stanley terrain, suitable for motivated intermediate riders. This may include a trip to Bonanza and a drive-by of the ginormous dredge for folks that haven't seen it. There may be more difficult options for motivated riders to continue. Saturday's ride will start at 10:00 am and we plan to be back in camp by 4:00 pm to allow time for folks to swim, fish, ride with kids, relax and otherwise enjoy the cool high-altitude.
Sunday: There will likely be a shorter but more difficult ride available on Sunday morning over Elk Meadows trail.
Other activities: There are atv trails and easy dirt roads very close by that are suitable for children, atv's, easy rides, or whatever for anyone who doesn't feel like riding gnarlier trails.
Info: If you have any questions, please feel free to call ride host Mark Weaver or email at email@example.com. See you there!!!!
