Come on out and join in the fun! March 26th and 27th the TVTMA is hosting the Annual Chili Ride. This year we are moving the location a bit further south to Diamond Basin [maps and directions are attached below] in order to access some different terrain this year and take advantage of the great weather conditions in the desert. On Saturday groups of riders will be taking off at intervals to explore the Owyhee Front. There will be riders leading rides for all skill and ability levels -- so come on out and we'll find a group who is doing something you'll enjoy. Additionally, there will be some hosted kids rides Saturday and Sunday as well -- so no excuse to leave them at home. Finally, some local shops plan to bring out some demo bikes on Sunday -- so you'll get a chance to sample some new machinery.
Sunday afternoon will be the annual chili feed. Please bring some [or all!] of the following to share: Chili, Sides [the Vice President is partial to Corn Bread] or deserts [I've heard everyone loves pie]. The club will have tableware and condiments along with some beverages for all. Should be great.
Directions: Go to the town of Murphy on hwy 78. Go 4.6 miles further on hwy 78 and turn right towards silver city. Go 5.7 miles towards silver city and turn right where the sign says 'TVTMA." Campfires both nights to ward off the chill and, if we're lucky, maybe even some marshmallows.
