Host: Mitch Berger email@example.com 310-947-2297
Directions: Travel to McCall on Highway 55. Turn right on Warren Wagon Road and travel approx. 28 miles to the Ruby Meadows Campground which will be on the right. Here are the Driving Directions via Google Maps.
Riding: UPDATE: Sunday: Big Ride! We will be riding surrounding trails, Ruby Meadows to Loon Lake, Wangdoodle, Blue Lake and 20 Mile trail to finish. For fuel, plan on the ride being around 80 miles with some paved road at the end to get back to camp.
The trails and country around Burgdorf are beautiful, but the terrain is generally steep, rocky and technical. Be prepared on being out all day and make sure you have enough fuel to go that distance. Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks. A water filter might come in handy as well. If you have a saw and are will to carry it, please do. We'll be riding in a burn area and the trees continue to come down every day.
There's lots of activities in the area including ATV opportunities, hiking, fishing and of course swimming at Burgdorf Hotsprings which is open until 8 PM.
There are easy dirt roads very close by that are suitable for ATVs and easier rides.
Info: Please send RSVP or any questions to Mitch Berger firstname.lastname@example.org or 310-947-2297. Thanks and see you there!
