I'll be leading a 65-75 mile ride looping over towards yankee fork on saturday. We'll be camping in the same approximate area as last year, Turn just across from Sheep Trail campground (approx 10 mi this side of Stanley) and look for signs by late friday afternoon. Here are maps to the approximate camp area:
The ride is suited for energetic and strong intermediate riders, with typical idaho terrain (sidehills, rocky descents, steep sidehills, stream crossings, scary steep sidehills, loose climbs, cliff-like horrifying sidehills, and some sidehill sections). Saturday's ride will depart camp at 10:00 AM sharp. Please be ready to ride at 10, not working on your bike. There are also atv trails and some easier singletracks in the vicinity. There are trails suitable for riding with kids, but this is not an area suitable for kids doing endless pitriding laps through camp.
If you made it one of the last 2 years, expect something vaguely similar, but with a few new odds and ends thrown in.
